Top 5 eCommerce Marketing Tools Every Ecommerce Needs
We’ve worked with a lot of eCommerce stores over the years, and they each have their own software stack of tools they use to manage their business. But every successful one has these five eCommerce marketing tools that they use regularly.
Do you have these five Marketing Tools?
To start off, they all have some form of project management system as part of their eCommerce marketing tools. Whether that’s a true project management software, like Trello or Asana, or a Google Sheet that keeps everything in order – they have it.
Another tool they have is a graphic design software as part of their software stack. While some do outsource their graphic design, many of the brands we work with rely on Canva. We use it, as well. Canva is one of those eCommerce marketing tools that is easy to use and reliable – you can’t go wrong with that.
Next up – email software. One of our favorite tools in this category is Klaviyo. It is robust, integrates easily with websites, and is relatively affordable for the features you get.
Successful eCommerce brands also rely on social media management software. Based on my personal use, I can recommend Hootsuite, SproutSocial, or Buffer as eCommerce marketing tools that are easy to use and effective. Your choice will depend on your needs.
And finally, one of the most critical eCommerce marketing tools is website analytics software that is easy for you to understand and use. Google Analytics is the standard (and free), but some prefer Kissmetrics over it. Shopify’s website analytics can only take you so far, so I do recommend adding one of those external tools to your software stack.
